School's Out Power Up for Summer Fun[FAYETTEVILLE, NC]— With summer right around the corner, it’s time to think about keeping children healthy while school is out. Cumberland County Schools’ Child Nutrition Services provides free meals to children during the summer.

This summer, meals will be served at various locations around the county on Monday through Friday, starting June 12, 2017, through July 28, 2017, [check individual sites for serving times]. There are no income requirements or registration. Anyone age 18 or younger may come to eat.

Each year, the U.S. Department of Agriculture partners with local organizations like Cumberland County Schools’ Child Nutrition Services, to provide free meals to children when school is out for the summer. Cumberland County sites participating in summer meals include, but are not limited to, the following:
